I first came to yoga for a physical practice in the local gym, which led me to explore yoga more. At this time I realised I needed to bring a more holistic approach to my work with young people who have social and emotional difficulties. I began to introduce the yoga practices I had learnt in my classes, and quickly saw the benefit to their mental wellbeing. I started going to a local weekly yoga class to help quieten my flighty mind. I was a student of Sarah O’ Connor for eight years and realised I wanted to learn more. So, I went on to complete a 500 hour MindFlowYoga teacher qualification with her and then a 100 hour Pranayama and the Foundations of Mantra. This opened my eyes further.
